Guest Workers Enjoy the Festive Spirit in Deepavali Meal Distribution with One World International School

On 22 November 2023, Dorm Mums, a dedicated support group under the Alliance of Guest Workers Outreach (AGWO)—a movement under Hope Initiative Alliance (HIA), collaborated with One World International School (OWIS) to distribute festive meals to guest workers. 170 festive meals were distributed at Changi East Depot, while 340 meals were given out at a construction site along Queen Street. Guest workers in both locations were treated to a scrumptious lunch of mutton briyani, gulab jamun (a traditional South Asian dessert) and mango juice as part of the Deepavali festivities. This initiative was made possible by the generosity of the OWIS Suntec community and students involved in distributing the meals. HIA would like to thank them for their support.
